ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Art has been an essential part of Mihaela Georgieva`s (1989) life ever since she was five years old. A life necessity, like breathing or as she puts it herself, providing the fuel for her mind and soul.

Her desire to study art and to develop as an artist led her to a Bachelor degree in Pedagogy of Fine arts from the University of Veliko Turnovo in Bulgaria. Since then she participated in art competitions and joint exhibition throughout Europe.

Mihaela Georgieva, full of strong creative charge. Her biography combines rich creative experience gained both within the country and abroad. The thematic canvas is closely specialized, which distinguishes the artist, making her recognizable at the same time.

Mihaela Georgieva was born on February 1, 1989 in Bulgaria.

From an early age she was fascinated by painting. Her passion for art starts every day around her fifth anniversary, and in the first grade she already received a publication of her drawing in the local newspaper. Later she began to participate in joint exhibitions and competitions, some of which are international. She had her first solo exhibition at the age of 13.

Art becomes a driving force for progress in life.

 

Mihaela graduated from a specialized high school with a profile in fine arts. After that she continued her studies at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Pedagogy of Fine Arts - Mural Painting. Later, she graduated from the same university with a Master's degree in psychology. There she found another passion, namely the power of psychology and art in Art Therapy.

 

Participates in the Erasmus program in Lithuania. She later developed her career abroad, visiting countries such as France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium, where she became a member of the De Loods Arts Organization. Participates in joint exhibitions, seminars. Having already discovered her passion for horses and developed her work focused on equestrian art, she became a member of the Paard Verzameld equestrian organization in the Netherlands. There she attended seminars and lessons, art classes with Assoc. Prof. Tineke Van Der Velde, Joyce Ter Horst, Karren Osborn.

 

She continue her life and creative development in Bulgaria. She works in her studio-gallery in Veliko Tarnovo, where she works every day. She actively participates in joint exhibitions, both in the country and abroad. She has solo exhibitions and her paintings can be found in galleries in Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv as well as in Belgium and Netherlands.

Her works are already owned by collectors and art lovers from Austria, Belgium, Lithuania, Hong Kong, Romania, United Kingdom, France, USA, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Egypt and Turkey.
